Is Grammarly worth paying for?

Is Grammarly worth paying for? The short answer, yes. I am assuming that you clicked on this because you have already been using the free account that Grammarly offers. If you have not tried the free account, then that would be your first point of call. The critical grammar checks, spelling checks, and conciseness assistance that is offered might be enough for many people. It’s undoubtedly more potent than any word processor software I can think of offers.

Are Editors out of a job?

For those of you that are serious writers considering what premium has to offer, perhaps you are reading articles such as this to help make your mind up. Hopefully, this article will help you either way. I will explain how Grammarly has revolutionized my writing and actually helped me finish writing my book.

The book in question is obviously Way of the 69 Fists advertised on this website. It was a 360-page manuscript that I was petrified of running through a spell checker. I had not even considered what grammatical errors might be lurking within. I initially signup up and paid for Premium because I thought it would be a quick solution; I would not have to spend hundreds of dollars on hiring an editor. I was right in some regard. Grammarly premium did take the role of editor in its stride. Where I was wrong was that it was not a quick solution. It found over 3000 errors and potential enhancements throughout my 80,000-word manuscript. I was utterly shocked at how bad my writing was. So many mistakes that I now know I had been making for decades.

Grammarly Premium will save you money

I went through each of the errors and suggestions one by one. After 360 pages, I actually found that my knowledge of the English language had increased substantially. I was not only a writer of a book but here I was editing it too. This process was very fulfilling, and it saved me a lot of money. Not only was I correcting spelling and grammatical errors, but I was learning correct punctuation, how to structure sentences more eloquently, how to choose a style of writing, and stick to it throughout. Finally, my vocabulary also increased – and I love words!

Therefore, if you are a writer wishing to scrimp on not hiring an editor. Grammarly will be your best friend. Is this terrible news for all the editors out there? I am sure they are all using this software to speed up their job too. So once again, is Grammarly worth paying for? Yes.

After initially writing the book, I did not occur to me that I would improve, as I have been writing articles for years. So after using Grammarly’s full set of tools over a few weeks, I was astounded by how much I was improving. Not only am I a more confident and competent writer, but I am a lot faster! I believe this transformation is highly likely with anyone who gets stuck in with Grammarly.

Way of the 69 Fists would not have been possible without Grammarly!
